The RRS CL1 AUv3 plug-in is available as a time-limited Demo version for users to experience before committing to a purchase. This version provides 5 minutes of free play time per session, with the option to reload the plug-in repeatedly for extended trial periods. CL1 stands out as a stereo and mono audio signal dynamic range compressor with a unique sonic signature that goes beyond standard compression duties. Thanks to features such as saturation with even harmonics, dithering for enhanced clarity, and oversampling with non-linear phase response, CL1 offers both technical precision in dynamic range control and artistic sound coloration.

In addition to its core dynamic range compression capabilities, the CL1 compressor boasts a limiter module to manage peak levels, a mid-range equalizer for ISO-226 curve equalization, and an input signal VU-meter with limiter operation indicator. Users benefit from adjustable high-pass filters, support for parallel compression, and M/S operational mode for added flexibility in shaping audio.

ATTACK MODE:

• In "Fast" mode, the compressor rapidly engages upon signal reaching the threshold, providing immediate gain reduction following an exponential law decay;
• "Slow" mode initiates gradual gain reduction after the signal surpasses the threshold, allowing more of the initial attack to pass through.

MID SCOOP:

The integrated mid-frequencies equalizer is engineered based on equal loudness curves for mid-range frequencies. This feature serves as a versatile tool to position instruments effectively by enhancing elements in the foreground while adding density or depth to other parts of the mix.

The CL1 compressor is a product of Vladislav Goncharov's acclaimed "МОЛОТ" compressor. For seamless integration, ensure you have an AUv3-compatible host app such as GarageBand, Auria, AUM, or Cubasis where CL1 will be listed among the Audio Unit extensions for effect plug-ins.
